annual membership will shield you and your family from out-of-pocket air
ambulance costs.
Air Life of Oregon flies seriously ill or injured patients via our Eurocopter EC-145helicopter and our three Pilatus PC-12 fixed-wings (airplanes). In more than 19 years, Air Life has flown more than 11,000 patients. Our highly trained pilots, flight nurses and respiratory therapists offer exceptional care and rapid transport to the closest medically appropriate facility.
Air Life’s Membership Program gives your entire family peace of mind for only $50 annually. While Air Life flies anyone in medical need, regardless of ability to pay, member patients pay nothing out-of-pocket for their transports.
Air Life bills a member’s insurance carrier (if any) and accepts that payment as payment in full.
In the face of illness or injury, the last thing you need is an expensive bill for ambulance transport. With ground ambulance membership, your family is covered for:
- Emergency 911 response for sudden illness or injury.
- Nonemergency yet medically necessary ambulance service as preauthorized by a physician.
- Ambulance transportation to the closest medically appropriate facility.
For only $50 a year, you and your family are covered not just with your local ambulance service, but with all FireMed affiliates in Oregon. Even with insurance, ambulance costs are seldom paid in full. Medicare, for example, only covers 50 to 80 percent of ambulance charges, depending on the service provided. With ground membership, you won’t have to worry about noncovered expenses. Your insurance payment, if any, is accepted as payment in full.
